Expanding the Big House

After buying the second house, the family has all worked very hard to expand the big house. the family is pretty sure they are done building for a while, and plan to start building up the waterfall fishing area they recently purchased.

They did build a fence around the property. The main reason is to keep the horses out of the garden. It also helps the family feel more comfortable in their own land.

Here is the areal view of the big home.

First Floor

On the top we have the Mom's rooms. Father stays in the most covenant room with the moms and currently does not have his own room.

On the bottom we have the Nursery and a room with Yosef's treadmill. We are likely going to have to set up a 4th crib in that room soon too. There is a play area that connects to the living area with a full bookcase. It is mostly full of educational books and recipes. There is a kitchen and dinning area that has two play stoves! Maybe we need a second table?

Second Floor

This is the current layout of the second floor. Beds were moved around so that twins could share rooms. There is a dresser set up in a common area so everyone can use it. We have 3 easels currently and Aurora is even painting a portrait of sister wife as a gift!

The School House

With so many kids, One computer was just not enough so we did add a second one, and we were excited that Father was able to get a nicer one when the old one died. father reached level 10 gardening and we put his diploma up to inspire the others! Both mothers are almost a 10 in cooking and we will hand those too!

The kids keep all of their rewards so they can hang them in their own homes if they want to!

Dad's Refuge (the Outhouse)

With Two moms and a house full of kids, and no bedroom of his own, Abraham build his own little spot. Never fails, there is never a bathroom open when he needs one! It has an outdoor shower attached so he can clean up after working the garden.

Lately the older sons have been sneaking out there too. Really they just want a quite place. The older son's have been helping with the garden too. Ysobel went and got a book on gardening, and already at a higher skill level than her brothers! She has been fishing too, so she may start working in the garden too. She is thinking of going into a Science career too.

Updated Family Tree!

This is not a major update. I have been busy and have not had time to play Sims lately :( I got a little time today!

I updated the family tree links in the blog and well the tree itself. Lela is currently pregnant too, and based on the current trend I am assuming she will have twins. May need a 4th crib as Rachel and Joshua (Aurora's most recent twins) were a bit of an unexpected surprise.

Thanks to the addition of the Whoohooer Mod to remove jealousy I use the risky whoohooo option every time.Even though Aurora was  not trying for children at that time, she ended up having twins!

Yosef and Ysobel are going to be aging up soon too, and I will be moving them to the second house if there is room.

Currently Issac is engaged to Darlene Bunch-Landgrabb (Formally Malcolm's wife, but he is now married to Rebecca). If that works out he will move in with her and the Twins might be able to move into the second house.

The Second house and a marriage

When kids become adults they start thinking about leaving the nest. With 11 people at home it was getting crowed. When Issac first became an adult, He talked to all 3 parents and they all came to a decision. The whole family all worked hard to make as much income as they could to buy a second home for the older kids.

Abraham expanded his farm, the kids painted, fished, and held bake sales. They even went so far as to dumpster dive to find things to resell.  By the time 3 of the kids were adults, they were able to afford a second house. It is aa 4 bedroom walk brownstone. There is not a lot of room but each kids has a room of their own!

Ruth was not yet an adult but was tired of sharing her room with her sister, and the cries of younger siblings and begged to move in with her siblings. After many promises to behave, and adult children promising to keep her safe and keep her studies up, They gave in and let her move over with them.

They did not want to admit it, but the real reason they let her move was because Aurora was pregnant with twins, and they knew they would need the room. Since all the money went to the new house, they did not yet have money to expand the homestead.

Once on their own, the adult child started exploring relationships. The family was shocked when their oldest son started dating the elderly Judy Bunch. They were sad for his loss when she passed away, but now they hope he meets someone closer to his own age!

They were excited when Rebecca met and later married Malcolm Landgraab. What they did not know at the time was that he had two children already with Darlene Bunch. Darlene still lives in Malcolm's mother's mansion but he and Rebecca have custody of the two kids names Jeremiah and Antwon. They recently purchased their own small home, and moved away from the second house and the Landgraab home.  It is not big, but big enough for this small family! Will they just raise Malcolm's kids together, or will they also have a few of their own? Only time will tell.

Right now Issac, Israel, and Ruth are still in the second house. Twins Yosef and Ysobell hope to move over to that house when they get older but there is really only room for one person, unless the twins plan to share a room again.

Life in the Big house

The family has dreams of being the largest family in Sunset Valley, but they are still not sure how the town folk will react to a family like theirs!

They are building there homestead at 53 Waterfall way. Right now the house is small, but they know it will grow as their family does.

It did not take long for the family to grow!

Not only are they sister's but they are sister wives too! They are both excited to watch each other have their children. Shortly after Issac was born, Lela found out she was pregnant with Rebecca! The next day Aurora learn that Israel was on his way!

Both sisters want the biggest families they can support. Both sisters love each other and they love all the kids in the house as their own.

Wanting the best for all the kids to have the best start in life they encouraged educational toys like blocks, toy ovens and books!  When they were ready for school, the family decided that they would homeschool all of their kids. They built a small school house on the land, and decided it was time to get the internet.

While the family is not anti technology, they are not sure they want that much outside influence in the home. Money is still tight so it is not a great computer, but it is enough for the kids to get their homework from and to study with. The parents ban video games, but sometimes at night the kids will sneak out and play chess or something.

The whole family has an artistic streak and often spend time together by painting. They can turn around and sell the art too. Some days they make more with art than they do with the farm.

Abraham does not pant like most of his family but he has found an artistic pursuit! He loves to take photos of his family!

He thought it would be fun to decorate the nursery with photos of the parents. The moms are wanting to paint portraits of the family but that may take practice.

The only way a big household works is if every pitches in. Teens are expected to get part time jobs, and help out with the younger kids. Sometimes big brothers have diaper duty and a sister may pitch in with cleaning or cooking.
